The Delhi CM has also accused the Center of using the Enforcement Directorate which recently filed a charge sheet in the Delhi liquor scam case for using the agency to “topple governments and buy legislators”.

Hitting out at the Center over its tussle with the judiciary, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said the BJP government was fighting with everyone from judges, the Supreme Court and state governments to farmers and traders.

Kejriwal gave advice Narendra Modi Government should not interfere in the work of others

“Why does the central government fight with everyone? With judges, Supreme Court, state governments, farmers and traders? The country will not progress by fighting with everyone. Do your work and let others do theirs. Don’t interfere in other’s work,” Kejriwal said in a tweet in Hindi, referring to a news report that has become a major flashpoint between the Supreme Court and the Center on the collegium system of appointment of judges.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi has been attacking the Center on several issues relating to governance and jurisdiction. Last month, Kejriwal, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP MLAs, marched to the Raj Niwas over the alleged delay in clearing his government’s proposal to send school teachers to Finland for training.

The Delhi CM also accused the Center of using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) which recently filed a charge sheet in the Delhi liquor scam case, for using the agency to “topple governments and buy legislators”. Has gone.

The Kejriwal government has challenged in the Supreme Court the GNCTD (Amendment) Act giving more powers to the LG in Delhi. The apex court is yet to pronounce its verdict.

Kejriwal on Thursday criticized the GNCTD Amendment Act brought by the Center in 2021 and hoped that the Supreme Court would declare it unconstitutional.

“The Constitution and law say that the LG is bound by the aid and advice of the Council of Ministers. This means the files should not go to the Lt Governor.”
