Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan extends tour to return via Dubai. Thiruvananthapuram News – Times of India

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who was to reach Kerala on Wednesday, has extended his foreign travel by two more days. Though there is no scheduled official schedule, Vijayan will travel from London to Dubai on Wednesday.
Sources said that the Chief Minister’s visit is a personal matter. He is accompanied by his wife, daughter and grandson besides other ministers and officials.
On this tour, the Chief Minister visited Norway and the UK.
Although he planned to travel Finlanddeath of CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan forced him to reschedule the trip. Only government officials visited Finland.
The remaining members of the tour team – ministers P Rajeev, V Shivankutty and Veena George, chief secretary VP Joy and secretaries and officials from other departments – will return to the state on Wednesday via Dubai and Qatar.
The visit has already drawn sharp criticism, as there were no major meetings with heads of state or senior ministers of the visiting countries. The presence of the Chief Minister’s family members is also being criticized by the opposition.
Meanwhile, the CMO claimed that the Hinduja Group has agreed to invest in electric bus manufacturing, cyber and finance sectors in the state. The decision was taken after discussions between Hinduja Group co-chairman Gopichand Hinduja and CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
The co-chairs of the group will visit the state in December for advanced talks. Under the preamble, a three-member team from the Hinduja group will visit the state.
