** In the same year, India were able to defeat a formidable England team in their own backyard, with a series result of 2–1.
** The biggest overseas win ever in New Zealand in the 2019-20 season came with Kohli’s team thrashing the Black Caps 5-0 before losing the subsequent ODI and Test series.
** In 2020, India returned after losing the ODI series in Australia to win the T20 rubber 2-1.
**Recently, India defeated the mighty England 3-2 and Kohli was adjudged the Player of the Series.
** Kohli remains the highest run-scorer in T20Is with 3159 runs at an impressive average of 52.65 and highest score of 94 not out.
