The daily positivity rate was recorded at 5.01 per cent while the weekly positivity rate stood at 4.29 per cent. The number of people recovering from the disease increased to 4,42,16,586 and the death rate was recorded at 1.19 percent. According to the website of the ministry, 220.66 crore doses of Kovid vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
