The Kozhikode Corporation has decided to remove all unauthorized boards, banners, flags and decorations along the roads and footpaths in the city at the earliest following an order by the High Court in this regard.
A meeting convened by Mayor Bina Philip on Friday discussed allotting a certain space in the city for such advertisements. Encroachment on footpaths will also be removed. All political parties have supported this campaign.
