Customers of private sector lender Karur Vysya Bank Limited can now send customs duty payments electronically by selecting the bank’s link in the ‘ICEGATE’ portal of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). The link for customs duty payment has now been enabled in ICEGATE, the national portal of Indian Customs of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, the bank said in a statement.
Earlier, CBIC had approved KVB as one of the authorized bankers for collection of taxes.
