The land acquisition work for Kuttiyadi bypass is in the final stage. A meeting was held recently to review the implementation of the project. A release from the office of MLA KP Kunhammed Kutty said that a final decision on compensation to be given to those who lost their land would be taken by the end of this month. Officials said the evaluation of the buildings has been completed. If the tendering process of the works is done simultaneously, then the road work can be started this year. The land acquisition process started after July 2021.
