“His family is full, so caviar and lobster are on the menu for me from yesterday,” tweeted Larry while awaiting the arrival of the famously wealthy craze.

podium changed

One of the first decisions of incoming British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak saw him step away from Liz Truss’s lecture, which was styled to look like a twisted pile of wooden blocks.

The lecturer’s unusual appearance caught a surprise last month when Truss used it to deliver his maiden address in front of the prime minister’s residence at No 10 Downing Street.

In recent decades each of the British Prime Ministers had his own personal lecture.

But the pace of Sunak’s selection as party leader and prime minister following the short and calamitous tenure of Liz Truss meant that Downing Street had to turn around for the stand left from the previous administration.

The lectures, which have a metal core to prevent them from blowing up, typically take at least three weeks to manufacture, at a cost of £4,000 ($4,500). Daily Telegraph,

Rishi Sunak has become the first person of color, Britain’s first Indian-origin prime minister. Sunak is also the first PM to be appointed by the new monarch, King Charles III, after the death of Queen Elizabeth II last month.
