ICC Latest Ranking: Earlier today the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the latest rankings and it has brought some very good news for Indian and Australian batsmen. Australia’s left-handed batsman Usman Khawaja took a big lead in the third Test match against South Africa in Sydney thanks to his brilliant century. Interestingly, Khawaja remained unbeaten on 195 as captain Pat Cummins Declared an innings to keep the match alive in a rain-affected match.
Usman Khawaja has now moved up to 8th in the men’s Test batsman rankings. It was not only Khawaja who made huge gains but the Pakistan and New Zealand players also picked up some valuable points from the recently concluded Test series. Players from both sides like Tom Latham, Devon Conway and Saud Shakeel made some key moves. Kiwi batsman Latham scored 71 and 62 in the second Test played in Karachi and is now ranked 19th. Devon Conway has also made some significant progress, moving up three places to No.21. Pakistan debutant Saud Shakeel has gained 20 places to reach 30th position.

Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne still continues to top the latest Test batsmen rankings. As far as ODI rankings are concerned, India’s Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma Some quick steps have been taken. Kohli scored a brilliant century against Sri Lanka on January 10, 2023 and has reached the 6th position. He is followed by his compatriot Rohit Sharma, who is ranked 83, which he made against Sri Lanka. As far as the One Day International bowling charts are concerned, Siraj has moved up to 18th position. Suryakumar Yadav continues to top the list of T20 batsmen. The Mumbai batsman scored a quickfire 100 against Sri Lanka and that helped him secure his place at the top of the heap.
