Street-style food is very much liked not only in India but all over the world. No matter which country you visit, you will find an abundance of street food vendors selling all kinds of delicious food. Pancakes or crepes, for example, will find a place on the streets of many countries. Simply pour a prepared batter onto a hot griddle, and let it cook for some time before serving hot! Recently a video of some street style pancakes being made in China surfaced on Twitter. Former Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim posted the video on his official handle. “Perfect pancakes in China,” he wrote in the caption of the video. Interestingly, the clip is reminding Indian Twitter users of none other than the humble dosa. to keep track:

The video shared by Eric Solheim was originally from a page called ‘Share Travel’. It has been viewed over 215k times and garnered hundreds of comments and likes. In the 29 second long clip, we can see a woman Put a ladle full of batter on the tawa or tawa. Then she takes out the batter on the pan with the help of a flat implement. Thanks to swirling the pan, the batter is spread out completely, resulting in a thin and crispy pancake that looks just like a big dosa!
Twitter users in India couldn’t contain their excitement after watching the video shared by the former Norwegian diplomat, Many reported that the giant street-style pancake from China looked exactly like a dosa. One user wrote, “Looks like a bigger bun than a pancake. Really tempting.” Another user said, “I couldn’t eat this pancake anyway, but do I love watching it get made.”
