The Mahindra Percussion Festival was organized on March 25 at the grounds of the Jayamahal Palace Hotel in Bengaluru

In this festival A. Renowned global and Indian percussionists from Sivamani, Pulse Conversations, Ta Dhom Project to Spanish group Paquito Ensemble and Chemin Band from Kerala participated.

Six-hour festival showcasing a mix of global and street-style percussion music

The venue was packed with people dancing to the beats

Sivamani’s unique taal sounds combined with Pulse Conversation’s dhol beats combine to create melodies that pay homage to natural elements like water and ether.

The event also featured a wall painting by Arawani Art Project, which seeks to bring transgender discourse to the fore in public spaces
