Indian superstars have shown that love knows no boundaries and is unaffected by countries. Celebs in India have broken all barriers to marry their love, be it TV stars or Bollywood actors. Although there are some stars like Priyanka Chopra and Preity Zinta who married the man of her dreams regardless of his nationality.

1. Priyanka Chopra

Global icon Priyanka Chopra marries American actor-singer Nick Jonas In a grand ceremony in Jodhpur in 2018. Priyanka recently confessed on a popular podcast that when Nick first messaged her, she was not interested in going out with him as he was much younger than her. The couple is now posing for an adorable family picture with baby Malti.

2. Preity Zinta

Dimpled beauty Preity Zinta surprised everyone in 2016 by announcing her engagement to Los Angeles based business analyst Gene Goodenough. Later, in India, the couple hosted a wedding reception for friends and relatives. Though Preity has not disclosed much about her love life, it is believed that she met Gene through mutual friends. The couple, who have been married for seven years, were blessed with twins Jiya and Jai in 2021 through surrogacy.

3. Shriya Saran

Best known for her work in South Indian cinema, Shriya Saran has also acted in several Hindi films, the most notable being the Drishyam series. Shriya initially met her Russian husband Andrei in Maldives and after dating for a few years, got married at the actor’s Lokhandwala home in 2018.

4. Radhika Apte

Talented powerhouse Radhika Apte prefers to keep her personal life private. The marriage between Radhika and Benedict Taylor, a British musician and composer, is unusual in many ways. First of all, this couple is in a long distance relationship. Secondly, he does not have any pictures of his marriage. Radhika and Benedict married in 2012 at a house in northern England.

5. Celina Jaitley

Former Miss India Celina Jaitley, who had a mediocre film career, met Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Peter Haag during the Dubai store launch. Selena has said that the two had an instant connection when they met and that they are soulmates. The couple married in 2011. In 2012, the couple welcomed twin boys. Jaitley had a second set of twin boys in 2017, one of whom died of a heart ailment.
