Mahindra ‘Born Electric’ SUV to launch on August 15: All you need to know – Times of India

After releasing a series of teasers, Mahindra is all set to unveil its ‘Born Electric’ SUV in the Indian market on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, 15th August. The recent teaser released by Mahindra shows five ‘Born Electric’ models that will follow different body styles. Three models will be coupe SUVs, while the other two models will follow the traditional design.
The previous teasers released by Mahindra showed three electric SUVs, which featured C-shaped LED headlamps and tail-lamps. Also, it offers a slick of sharp design with a sloping roof as seen in other electric concept cars.

Mahindra has also released an interior teaser of the SUVs, which shows a driver-oriented cockpit with a single digital display, central console, side-view camera and the durable material used in the cabin. Another teaser video sheds light on a host of features on the Bourne electric SUV like instrument display, climate control, live charging info and seat adjustments.

In early 2022, Mahindra announced its plans to set up a new electric vehicle subsidiary that would focus entirely on electric four-wheelers. Additionally, it is also said that the company has received Rs 1,925 crore from British International Investment (BII) for the same.
