Attacking the BJP-led central government, the CPI(ML) said the arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia by the CBI was an attack on democracy.
CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said in a statement that Mr. Sisodia was arrested on the “frivolous pretext” of non-cooperation.

He said that the CPI(ML) strongly condemns the arrest of Mr. Sisodia and appeals to the people to stand in protest. Meanwhile, the party also said that it has decided to raise the Adani issue in the Bihar Assembly.
