Country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it will hike prices of all models from next month amid rising costs.
In a regulatory filing, the company said, “…the cost of vehicles of the company is being adversely affected due to increase in various input costs since last one year.” Therefore, it has become imperative to have some impact of the additional cost on the customers through price escalation.
“It is planned to increase the prices of all models in September 2021,” Maruti Suzuki India said.
The company currently sells a range of models from the entry-level hatchback Alto to the S-Cross, which are priced between ₹2.99 Lakh and ₹12.39 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) Lakh respectively.
