After 21 people lost their lives due to spurious liquor in Bihar, on November 05, CM Nitish Kumar said that there is a need for an anti-liquor campaign in the state to spread awareness. “I am saying again and again that if you consume the wrong thing then this situation will happen. I keep talking to the officials but we will do a detailed review after the festival. It is very important to start the campaign once again to tell the people that alcohol is bad and prohibition is in force. Action will be taken and action will be taken against such people (manufacturers of spurious liquor). Still a massive campaign is needed. We will review it after the festival,” said CM Nitish Kumar in Patna.
