A 15-year-old boy is also among the three people killed in jaundice that occurred at midnight in Dharmapuri’s Savulur here.
Victims Rahul (22), Santosh (15), Jeevabharti (21) along with two other friends had pulled out their car on the Bengaluru National Highway at midnight when their car rammed into a truck from behind near the Savulur flyover.
According to the city police, the accident took place when the car lost control and rammed into an oncoming truck.
Santosh, a Class X student; Jeevbharti a final year B.Sc. student; And paramedical pass-out Rahul died on the spot.
Two others, Kartik (22) and Kaviarasu (21) suffered serious injuries and were admitted to a private hospital in Dharmapuri. Dharmapuri Nagar Police has registered a case.
