According to reports, the police found the half-mutilated body of the actor in his Versova flat. His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. Mishra reportedly complained of chest pain on November 29, and was sent home by the doctor after taking medicine. Reports claim that he suffered a heart attack and died, however, confirmation on the same is still awaited.

The body of the actor was reportedly found in the bathroom of his house three days after his death. Police are awaiting the results of the post-mortem to ascertain the exact time and cause of his death.
