Grind the bread on the dal till you get bread crumbs. In a bowl add chopped onion, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves, black pepper, cumin, asafoetida, rice flour, semolina, curd and salt. Knead it into a smooth dough, and make sure it binds. Divide the dough into small or medium sized balls and then flatten them. Deep fry the balls till they become crispy and golden brown. Bread vadas are ready!
