Mumbai: The Central Railway on Sunday suspended train services between Thane and Diva corridor for 18 hours. Suspension of train services will continue till 2 pm on Monday Central Railway said in a statement. The 18-hour blockage is an infrastructure block for the work of the fifth and sixth railway lines on the Thane and Diva slow corridors. According to the Central Railway, “Suburban services will not be available at Kalwa and Mumbra stations during this period”. Apart from this, a total of 11 trains have been canceled till Monday, December 20. As a result of this, Central Railway in association with the municipal authorities has arranged buses for the benefit of the commuters.
“The Railway Administration has made arrangements to run the buses in coordination with Thane and Kalyan-Dombivli Transport Undertakings for the benefit of the passengers,” Central Railway said in an official statement.

- 17317 Hubli-Dadar Express JCO will be short terminated at Pune on 18.12.2021 and
- 17318 Dadar – Hubli Express JCO 19.12.2021 will start from Pune for sometime.

- Semi-fast services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Kalyan from 7:47 am to 11.52 am will be diverted on Up fast line between Diva and Mulund at skipping halts at Mumbra and Kalwa; At Mulund station, it was re-diverted to Up slow line and arrived at destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
- Semi-Fast services leaving Mulund from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7:42 am to 1:15 pm (on 20.12.2021) will be diverted on Dn fast line between Mulund and Diva stations leaving halts at Kalwa and Mumbra ; Diva station was re-diverted to DOWN Slow line and arrived at destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
