Mumbai Police posts funny video advising people about online scams

Mumbai Police often shares pictures and videos on its Instagram handle.

Mumbai Police always manages to grab the attention of the youth. This time, he came up with an interesting way of delivering the message about online scams. Taking to Instagram, the police department latched onto a popular Instagram trend and warned people about scammers.

The caption accompanying the video reads, “This is not a ‘dilemma’ to be considered! Even our police personnel do not approve of this. Do not share your personal or banking information with anyone. Be alert.”

In the video shared 13 hours ago, two people can be seen face to face. On one of them it is written, “Scammers are asking you for OTP.” On the other one it is written, “You are giving your OTP to scammers.”

The video has been viewed over 1,78,000 times on Instagram with several comments. Several internet users also shared their views in the comment section.
