Delhi Mayor Election: Security forces have been stopped at the Civic Center in view of the election.

New Delhi: Elections are being held today for the specific posts of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and 6 members of the Standing Committee of the House of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Nominated corporators have taken oath and now elected corporators have started taking oath. Nominated members take oath first, this time Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members are not officials. However, Aam Aadmi Party’s Adarsh Nagar councilor Mukesh Goyal said that we are not refusing to take the oath of nominated councillors. But the convention is that the oath is administered to the elected members first.
