Nagaland minister posts photo with “Karate Kids”, wins hearts online

Temjen Imna Along, the tourism and higher education minister in Nagaland, is known for his hilarious social media posts. Mr. Along also shares important goals in life and informs people about the culture of the North Eastern state. This time he posted a picture of himself surrounded by kids practicing martial arts. In his tweet, the minister described himself as a ‘sumo wrestler’ and the children as ‘karate kids’. He posted the tweet on Friday and it has since collected over two lakh views and over 8,100 likes.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader is seen in casuals – jeans and a T-shirt – the children are dressed in their martial arts gear. He has clenched his fist while posing for photos.

The tweet has triggered a flurry of reactions from Mr Along’s followers and other users of the platform.
