The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (50 per cent of face value of Rs 5 each) paid in the financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.

“The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per share (20% on face value of Rs 5 per share) for the financial year ending March 31, 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholder at the successful Annual General Meeting. subordinated.” The filing said.

As the company declared dividend to its shareholders, the stock rose over 7 per cent to touch a 52-week high of Rs 102.30 on NSE. At closing, the stock was trading at a high of 5.91 per cent at Rs 99.45.

On BSE also, Nalco stock was trading at 102.25 touching a 52-week high. It closed at a high of 5.75 per cent at 99.25.

NALCO is a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines. The company has integrated and diversified operations in mining, metals and power. The Center holds 51.28 per cent stake in NALCO.
