Shyam Singha Roy multi-timeline drama who switches between Bengal of the 70s and contemporary Hyderabad. The film is the second directorial venture of filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan. Nani played a dual role in the film, Shyam Singha Roy (a social reformer) and Vasudev Ghanta (a short film producer). Sai Pallavi A Devasai essay called Maitreyi.
The film also stars Kriti Shetty, Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Manish Wadhwa, Leela Samson and Subhlekha Sudhakar in pivotal roles. Directed by Venkat Boyanapalli’s Niharika Entertainment, the film stars Sanu John Verghese as the cinematographer. The songs of ‘Shyam Singh Roy’ composed by Mickey J Meyer have emerged as chartbusters. Naveen Nooli edited the film.
Nani will be next seen in ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ which is going to go on floors soon. Later in 2022, he will start shooting for his next film ‘Dussehra’. ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ will be directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by Maithri Movie Makers. This film is Nazriya Nazim’s first film in Tollywood. Harshvardhan, Suhas, Nadiya and Rahul Ramakrishna are also part of the cast.
