The actor’s wife and his mother had an argument following which Nawazuddin’s mother lodged an FIR against Aaliya.

Aaliya, on the other hand, recorded her statement at the Versova police station and took the legal route, alleging that Nawazuddin and his family did not provide her with food, basic amenities or even access to bathrooms. Through her advocate Rizwan Siddiqui, Aaliya filed a counter-argument to Mehrunnisa’s complaint, under section 509, outraging modesty and section 498A, husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty.

While there is talk that Alia is stirring up property disputes for profit, her lawyer revealed that the real reason for her presence in Mumbai was to confront the actor for ‘endangering the safety’ of her younger daughter when she accompanied him on his trip to Dubai.
