Neeraj Bishnoi, the main accused of ‘Bully Bai’ app, threatens to commit suicide in police custody

India Today has learned that Neeraj Bishnoi, The alleged mastermind behind the ‘Bully Bye’ appThreatening suicide to Delhi Police officials.

A source confirmed that the accused, who is in the custody of Delhi Police, attempted to harm himself twice during the course of the investigation. The police has conducted a medical examination to ensure his safety. He is stable at the moment.

A senior official with knowledge of the investigation said that this could be their strategy to delay the investigation. However, considering the sensitivity of the situation, the authorities are taking utmost care to ensure his safety.

The agency has found that accused Neeraj Bishnoi is a habitual hacker who has sabotaged websites earlier. He has been doing this since the age of 15.

KPS Malhotra, DCP Special Cell of Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO), who led the entire operation to arrest Bishnoi, said, “He had earlier hacked and sabotaged the websites of several Indian and Pakistani schools and universities. Officials are looking for them. They claim to have hacked websites related to the school.”

The day Mumbai Police arrested Shweta Jha (18) from Uttarakhand, accused Neeraj Bishnoi purportedly tweeted from a Twitter account with the handle @giyu44, challenging the Mumbai Police to arrest her.

During interrogation, Delhi Police found that the said ID was linked to GIYU, a gaming character from the anime world whom Neeraj Bishnoi particularly loved. “Anime” is a colloquial term for Japanese animation. Neeraj had created several Twitter handles which contained the word “GIYU”.

According to sources, he admitted to communicating with those arrested by the Mumbai Police through social media, mainly through Twitter group chats.

Bishnoi revealed that he was in touch with the creator of the Twitter handle @sullideals, who had created the Sully Deals app on GitHub, and had also promoted it.

DCP KPS ​​Malhotra told India Today that there is evidence linking Neeraj Bishnoi to the Sulli deal case.

“His claim Getting in touch with Sully Deal The Twitter handle used by him has been confirmed to be involved in the FIR lodged at PS-Kishangarh, Delhi. In the FIR, he used a Twitter account to tweet a picture of a woman being put up for auction,” KPS Malhotra said.

Police are verifying his claim of being in touch with the creator of the Sully Deals app.
