The Central Government and the National Board of Examinations told the Supreme Court on Wednesday that the Post Graduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2021 will be conducted as per the old pattern and the new pattern will be applicable. Next year.

The Supreme Court had yesterday slammed the Center for changing the syllabus of NEET Super Specialty Exam 2021. “This is how our education system is messed up,” the top court said.

The court observed that the authorities should show some concern for the students, as it is the students who do not start the preparation for these courses not earlier than two or three months, but right from the time they join the postgraduate course.

The apex court said that before 2018, 100 per cent questions were from the feeder course. There were major revisions from 2018 to 2020 under which 60% marks were from super specialization and 40% from feeder super specialization courses.

“What is sought to be done now is that 100% of the questions will be from the primary feeder specialty which is generic medicines. It is completely ignoring the facts that you are fundamentally changing the exam pattern and you are doing it for the exam to be held in November 2021.”

The top court said, “You can have an argument; we are not saying that you cannot have an argument. The question is that all the changes brought by you have caused serious prejudice to the students. The problem is It’s that you didn’t plan for the future. You didn’t have a vision and all you do is that just because you have a certain degree of authority, you’ll exercise whatever time you want.”

After this, the center postponed the postgraduate NEET-SS 2021 exam by two months. NEET-SS exam will now be held on January 10 and January 11, 2022. NEET SS 2021 was earlier scheduled to be held on November 13 and 14.

On September 27, the top court said, “Don’t treat young doctors as football in a power game,” and warned the Center that if it is not satisfied with the justification for the last-minute change in the curriculum, it will take strict action. can.
