NEET UG 2023: As per the latest updates, NEET UG 2023 will be conducted only once in a year and this year it will be conducted on 7th May
It was speculated that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023 Will be organized twice a year. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) recently confirmed that the NEET UG 2023 exam will be conducted only once a year. The news gained attention after the agency responded to a Right to Information (RTI) filed by a student activist.
A tweet by RTI activist Vivek Pandey read, “Not NEET twice a year, twice a year #NEET was a good option for aspirants but govt doesn’t want to help NEET UG aspirants.” He also attached a screenshot of NTA’s response wherein the management has said that there is no change in the decision of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) regarding the number of times NEET (UG) is to be conducted. On December 15, 2022, NTA announced the date of NEET UG 2023. As of now, no other dates such as application process, admit card, result and others are yet announced by the agency. But as per the reports, NTA is expected to release the NEET UG 2023 notification soon.
Once the notification is released, candidates who wish to appear for NEET UG 2023 can check all the details related to NEET 2023 at the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. NEET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in 13 languages which include English, Hindi and 11 other regional languages. It is a pre-medical entrance exam for students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses in government and private institutions in the country.
