On September 18, in the Popular Front of India (PFI) case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at several places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Raids were conducted in Nellore, Nandyal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Jagtial areas of Telangana.

According to news agency ANI, the agency is searching the residence of one Shadulla who is the main accused in the case.

Mohammad Jallauddin and Athar Parvez, a retired police officer from Jharkhand, were arrested on July 13 from Phulwari Sharif area of ​​state capital Patna, while Nooruddin Jangi was arrested three days later by Uttar Pradesh ATS from Lucknow on the request of Bihar Police. .

Patna Police had said, “They (Jallauddin and Parvez) were teaching local people to use swords and knives and inciting them to incite communal violence. They have links with PFI.”

He said that many objectionable documents related to Islamic extremism have been seized from them.

The UP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had said that Nooruddin “confessed” during interrogation that he had come in contact with the Popular Front of India (PFI) Darbhanga district president in 2015 and has been associated with the outfit since then.
