Nitin Gadkari to lay foundation stone of projects worth ₹1,406 crore tomorrow

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari Ready to lay foundation stone for multiple projects 1,406 crore on Wednesday. Apart from this, the minister will also inaugurate a four-lane underpass on NH-48 in the National Capital Region.

According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Gadkari will also take up various projects tomorrow, including construction and repair of the Dharuhera-Bhiwadi link road and flyovers at Kapriwas Chowk and Dwarkadhish Chowk.

In addition, an underpass worth Rs 103 crore for vehicles taking U-turn near Ambience Mall in Gurugram will also open tomorrow.

Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav today visited the site at Panchgaon Chowk to take stock of the preparations for the inauguration of the said projects.

Gadkari on Tuesday gave a series of approvals on various projects. This information was given from his official Twitter account.

Some projects were:

Karimnagar Warangal section of NH-563 in Telangana State approved with budget outlay of 4 laning 2146.86 crore under Bharatmala project.

He also approved the construction of four lane greenfield expressway of Jaipur Spur from the budget of 1908.38 crores.

Gadkari announced approval to upgrade Badki Mehri village to Ramanujganj section of Ambikapur-Ramanujganj-Garhwa road (NH-343) under the corridor scheme in Chhattisgarh. 199.05 crores. Also, he approved upgradation of Rajpuri Khurd village of Ambikapur-Ramanujganj-Garhwa road (NH-343, Package-I) to Padih village section under the same scheme. 397.44 crores.

Meanwhile, upgradation of Bilaspur-Takhtpur-Mungeli-Pandaria-Pondi road i.e. 4 bypasses (Takhtpur bypass, Mungeli bypass, Pandariya bypass) to 2-laning (with paved shoulder) on NH-130A (PKG-III) in Chhattisgarh has been completed. The approval has been given with the budget of Pondi Bypass) 351.19 crore.

Further, Gadkari approved the budget of Rs. 365.22 crore for the work of upgradation and widening of Jharkheda-Barsia-Dholkhedi section of NH-346 (including 3 bypasses of 13.10 km) in Bhopal, Sehore and Vidisha districts of Madhya Pradesh state.
