“We transferred money to people’s Jan Dhan accounts so that they can lead a dignified life. We deposited money in farmers’ accounts, and also arranged for free gas cylinders. When vaccines came, we made sure that every Indian was vaccinated, and that too for free.”

Modi said he does not need to know about poverty from books or television as he has experienced it firsthand.
On his goals for the immediate future, the PM said that his government is running a campaign for 100% implementation of welfare schemes and access to services for all sections of the society.
“When the goal is to provide government facilities to all citizens, it will automatically remove discrimination and leave no room for corruption or nepotism.”
