Noida child dies in street dog attack

The newborn was taken to a private hospital. He died in the night.

A child died after being trampled on by a stray dog ​​in an apartment building in Noida near Delhi on Monday.

According to the police, a one-year-old boy with serious injuries was admitted to the hospital after being attacked by the dog.

Police officer Rajneesh Verma said that the incident took place at Lotus Boulevard apartment in Sector 100, Noida at around 4.30 pm yesterday.

Verma said, “The parents of the child are construction workers. Both were working inside the society and had kept their child with them. However, a stray dog ​​had entered the society and bitten the child, causing him to seriously injured.”

The newborn was taken to a private hospital. He died in the night.

Police said agencies have been asked to nab the stray dogs. Reports said that the dog catchers arrived but residents asked them to leave.
