Yogi targets Akhilesh over cow dung statement
In his nearly two-hour long speech, Adityanath took a jibe at Yadav several times.
Hitting out at the SP chief over his remark on cow dung, Yogi said it was ironic that the leader of the opposition smells of cow dung, which is considered a form of Goddess Lakshmi.
During a discussion on the budget in the state assembly, Yadav had said on Monday that Kannauj, famous for ‘Ittar’, needs a perfume park instead of a ‘dung’ plant.
“The irony is that the Leader of the Opposition smells foul smell in the cow dung. If he considered the cow dung to be the form of Lakshmi, he would not have said so. Talking about the perfume of Kannauj, Adityanath said that the perfume of Kannauj has been identified under the ‘One District One Product’ scheme and its fragrance is spreading all over the world today.
