A shocking video has emerged in which BJP leader Parshuram Chaturvedi, who was on hunger strike and leading the anti-government protest in Buxar, suddenly collapses due to cardiac arrest during the protest. His death was caught on camera on Monday.

When the news of his death reached BJP leader and Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, he broke down during a press conference held in Patna.

Condoling the demise of BJP leader Parshuram Chaturvedi, who was on hunger strike in Buxar for several days demanding compensation and fair value of his land, he could not hold back his tears.

Farmers are protesting in Buxar demanding compensation for their land by a power company. Recently, the Bihar Police lathicharged the protesting farmers which intensified the ongoing protests.
An emotional Choubey said, “Chaturvedi made the sacrifice for the farmers. He was on hunger strike for several days. I am very upset.”

“When I was doing a press conference in Patna, I got the sad news of the demise of my younger brother Parshuram Chaturvedi, a former BJP candidate from Buxar. Tears welled up in my eyes. Saddened by the demise. He was indignant ” Yatra for farmers’ demand in Buxar,” he tweeted.

Earlier, the Union minister had a narrow escape in a road accident on Sunday evening in which five policemen were injured.

The accident happened when he was going from Buxar to Patna. The vehicle of his convoy overturned and fell into the ditch. He later met the injured policemen in the hospital.
