Shah Rukh Khan, who is awaiting the release of his action-thriller film ‘Pathan’, answered questions from fans for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Saturday over the Republic Day weekend. During the session, one of his fans made an unusual request on Twitter, asking the superstar to delay the release of the film. the reason? They are getting married on the same day the film is releasing. The fan said that he was getting married on January 25 and asked if the film’s release could be pushed to the next day so that he would not miss it. Pathan’First day first show.

In a tweet, she asked Shah Rukh, “Sir, I am getting married on 25th Jan. Can you please postpone Pathan to 26th. That would be great. Thank you.”

Shah Rukh Khan, known for his wit, replied that the fan should get married on the 26th, after the Republic Day parade, as that day was also a holiday. He replied, “Tum shaadi 26 ko karlo (after the Republic Day parade). It is also a holiday that day.”

Another fan had a similar question. He wrote, “Shaadi tai ho gayi 26 January ko.. kya karoon? #AskSRK (My marriage is fixed on 26 January. What should I do).” Shah Rukh replied, “Shaadi kar le… watch the movie on honeymoon vacation.”

‘Pathan’ Has been making headlines since its first song, ‘shameless color‘, released earlier this week. The film has run into trouble as some BJP leaders objected to actor Deepika Padukone wearing an orange outfit in a song.

Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh is also among those who target ‘Pathan’ BJP’s Narottam Mishra who claimed that a song in the film showed a “corrupt mentality” and threatened to block its release in the state. He said, “The actors and actresses in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ are wearing green and saffron clothes in an objectionable manner, made of a corrupt mindset.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Pathan’ John Abraham is also in the lead role. The film is set to hit the theaters on January 25, 2023.
