One word trend took over Twitter; After President Joe Biden, Sachin Tendulkar Joins His Tweet

Sachin Tendulkar is the latest player to join the ‘one-word’ trend of Twitter. If you are an avid social media user, then you must know that a new trend has challenged the imagination of everyone on the microblogging platform. Several organizations and public figures have joined the tweet trend, which appears to be either an individual or an organization’s field of work, or to summarize something they believe in. master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also joined the trend. No trace to guess what his one-word tweet was. “Cricket”, tweeted the former Indian cricketer.

The social media team at American train service provider Amtrak has arguably started the “one-word tweet” trend. As soon as the rail company tweeted the word “train”, the trend moved faster than the bullet train. It has also received a response from the office of US President Joe Biden.

From the official handle of the President of the United States, President Biden tweeted, “Democracy.”

Several media houses, multinational corporations and even NASA jumped on the bandwagon.

The Washington Post wrote “news,” while NPR tweeted, “radio.”

Hotel chain Marriott Bonvoy just went with “Hotel.”

NASA went with the word “universe”.

While people are enjoying the use of one word, some are looking disappointed. Taking a jibe at the ubiquitous one-word format inspired by Amtrak, one person wrote, “God from this cute, quirky tweet to stupid brand Twitter meme in record time. I don’t like it here.”

Many believe the original tweet was a mistake by an “intern” in Amtrak’s social media team, with others opining that it was a deliberate social media tactic to gain traction.

Whatever a one-word tweet from the rail service’s official Twitter account, it has moved faster than the super speedy Shinkansen.
