Measles outbreak is increasing in Mumbai. On Tuesday, 20 new cases of measles were reported in the metropolis, along with which a one-year-old child died due to this. According to the Brihanmumbai Metropolitan Region (BMC), since January 1 this year, 220 people have been infected with the disease in Mumbai. The death toll due to measles has reached 10 in the city this year. BMC said,

Due to the outbreak of measles, an appeal has been made to all citizens to vaccinate children between the age of nine months to five years. This includes 100 oxygen beds, 10 ventilators and 10 ICU beds.
