These discounted tickets will be available in economy class under Fly Air India Sale
owned by Tata Group Air India The airline is offering discounts on its flight tickets on its domestic network between January 21 and January 23 to mark India’s 74th Republic Day. The discount can be availed across all Air India booking platforms, including through authorized travel agents, for travel between February 1 and September 30, 2023.
These discounted flight tickets under Fly Air India The sale (FLYAI SALE) will be available in the economy class.
“Starting at incredibly low one-way fares of Rs 1,705, the discount will be available on over 49 domestic destinations. Be it a dream holiday tour with family or a business trip, one can avail these heavily discounted tickets on Air India’s extensive domestic network, Air India said in a statement.
Here are some one-way discounted fares (all inclusive):
Delhi to Mumbai: Rs 5,075
Chennai to Delhi: Rs 5,895
Bangalore to Mumbai: Rs 2,319
Delhi to Udaipur: Rs 3,680
Delhi to Goa: Rs 5,656
Delhi to Port Blair: Rs 8,690
Delhi to Srinagar: Rs 3,730
Ahmedabad to Mumbai: Rs 1,806
Goa to Mumbai: Rs 2,830
Dimapur to Guwahati: Rs 1,783.
Tata had acquired Air India and Air India Express in January this year. Tata Group emerged as the winning bidder for the loss-making Air India in October 2021. It offered a bid of Rs 18,000 crore, which included a cash payment of Rs 2,700 crore and taking over of the carrier’s debt of Rs 15,300 crore. In January 2022, the Tata group took back the ownership of Air India.
Since acquiring Air India in January this year, Tata has unveiled a comprehensive transformation plan to revive the loss-making airline. The plan is focused on five factors – industry leadership, strong operations, commercial efficiency, industry best-in-class talent and exceptional customer experience.
The group had also announced in November the merger of Air India and Vistara By March 2024. Post completion of the merger process, the Tata group will hold 97.9 per cent stake in the combined entity of AI-Vistara-AI Express-AirAsia India Pvt Ltd (AAIPL). SIA has committed to invest $250 million once the integration takes place.
