“Saddened by the passing of Shri UV Krishnam Raju Garu. Generations to come will remember his cinematic talent and creativity. He was also at the fore in community service and made a mark as a political leader. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti,” he tweeted.
Raju, who was actor Prabhas’ uncle, passed away in the early hours of September 11. He had acted in several Telugu films since the 1960s and was last seen in Prabhas-starrer “Radhe Shyam”, which released earlier this year.
