PM Modi to address youth rally in Himachal on September 24: Jai Ram Thakur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a youth rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district on September 24, ahead of the likely assembly elections this year.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur informed that the Prime Minister will address the youth at Paddal ground in Mandi on September 24 and call upon the youth of Siraj to participate in the rally in large numbers, news agency ANI reported.

The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Government Senior Secondary School, Darbar Thatch Bhawan. The building was constructed at the cost of 2.43 crore in Darbar Thatch of Siraj assembly constituency.

Talking about the school building, Thakur said, “The building of Government High School, Sarachi was constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.75 crore, Government Senior Secondary School Shikwari 3.84 crore and GSSS Bagsiad at a cost of Rs. 4.24 crores.”

The Chief Minister also informed that the construction work of academic and administrative block of Pharmacy College, Siraj, Bagsiad is in progress. Pharmacy College Staff Residential Complex and Hostel will be constructed at a cost of ₹ 48.65 crore. 14 crores.

On the initiatives taken by his government to ensure basic facilities in the field of education in the Siraj region, he said, “Strong infrastructure was developed to provide higher and vocational education to the students. Construction of Government Degree College Lambathach Bhawan was done at cost. 8.27 crore and Horticulture and Forestry College has been established at Thunag. The construction work of ITI at Chhatri at a cost of Rs 18.84 crore was in progress.

Along with this, CM Thakur also announced approval of opening of veterinary dispensaries at Balidhar, Bagchanogi and the post of Horticulture Extension Officer in Darbar Thatch.

On this occasion, local panchayat head Meera Devi and other dignitaries welcomed the Chief Minister, including former Delhi MLA Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri, representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions, office bearers of BJP Mandal.
