Nupur Sharma is facing nine FIRs for her alleged blasphemous statements against the Prophet.
The former BJP spokesperson has moved the Supreme Court saying that she and her family members are receiving constant rape and death threats after the Supreme Court’s strong criticism against her comments.
In his petition, he requested to club the FIR in Delhi.
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court launched a barrage of critical comments of Nupur Sharma and accused her of igniting the country and damaging the social fabric with alleged remarks against the Prophet.
On her comments during a TV debate, the Bench had said, “The way she has set the entire country on fire… Courts. This woman alone is responsible for setting the country on fire.”
