Finally, the rumble of hooves will be heard at the Pune Race Course after a six-month hiatus, as the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) plans to hold a shortened racing season from October 17. The first day’s race will be held without spectators
RWITC has released eight race-day sheet prospectus for the season which ends on 28 November.
Race Dates: October: 17, 23 and 30; November: 7, 13, 14, 21 and 28.
Important Races: Akkasaheb Maharaj Trophy (23 October), Eve Champion Trophy (30 October), SA Poonawalla Million (7 November), Willu C. Poonawalla Million (14 November), RWITC Gold Cup (21 November), FD Wadia Trophy and Pune Derby (28 November).
