Rahane, Pujara fail to do well in their respective Ranji Trophy matches

Things go from bad to worse for star Indian cricketers Ajinkya Rahane And Cheteshwar Pujara Because both the batsmen got out cheaply in their respected Ranji Trophy matches. Rahane was dismissed for zero for Mumbai against Goa while Saurashtra’s Pujara was dismissed for eight against Odisha.

Ajinkya Rahane’s stay at the crease lasted only three balls as the Mumbai man was dismissed for zero by medium pacer Lakshya Garg. When Rahane came to bat, Mumbai were already battling 30 for 2 and his side was reduced to 30 for 3 after his dismissal in the Elite Group D match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rahane scored a century in his previous Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra but failed to perform in the first innings against Goa.

It was not a good day at the office for Cheteshwar Pujara as well as the Saurashtra lad could last only six balls for his home team, which was scored by medium pacer Devvrat Pradhan in the Elite Group D match against Odisha at Sardar Patel Stadium. I was dismissed for 8 runs. B.A in Ahmedabad Pujara hit two fours for a short time at the crease. In his last Ranji Trophy match against Mumbai, Pujara had scored zero in four balls in the first innings and 91 runs in 83 balls in the second innings.
