Rajasthan governor appoints vice chancellors in eight universities – Times of India

JAIPUR, Sept 30 (PTI):Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra In consultation with the state government, orders have been issued for the appointment of vice-chancellors in eight universities. According to an official statement released on Thursday, Dr. Abhay Kumar Vyas has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Agricultural University, Kota; Professor Baghda Ram Choudhary, Agricultural University, Jodhpur; and Dr. Arun Kumar Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural UniversityBikaner.
Professor Ramsevak Dubey has been appointed as VC of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur; Dr. Ajit Kumar Maharana Pratap Agricultural University and Technology, Udaipur; and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.
Professor Kailash Sodhani has been appointed as VC of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota; and Dr. Balraj Singh of Shri Karan Narendra Agricultural University.
Eight Vice-Chancellors have been appointed for a term of three years or till they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
