Rajasthan School Education Department will recruit 60,000 posts: CM Gehlot

During the review meeting of the School Education Department, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the Rajasthan government will recruit 60,000 different posts in the School Education Department in 626 schools in the state.

In the meeting, he directed the officials to complete the process of Lecturer Recruitment 2018 at the earliest as well as issue waiting list for 193 posts of PTI Grade-III Recruitment 2011 and 444 posts of Senior Teacher Recruitment 2016.

A survey will be conducted to increase the number of Mahatma Gandhi’s schools in cities after the positive response to English medium education.

The Chief Minister said in a statement that the Rajasthan State Education Regulatory Authority would also be constituted to fix fees and other problems in private educational institutions of higher and school education.

This authority will take an appropriate decision after discussing the interests of the State Government, the management of the educational institution and all other stakeholders including the parents. The CM also said that action would be taken to make separate rules like sportspersons and NCC to give priority to scouts-guides and NSS students in government jobs.

Gehlot said that if there are 10 students of third language in senior secondary schools, then according to the demand of studying Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi etc., the posts of teachers will be allotted to the particular language.

The minister said that tests would be conducted to increase the post of physical education teachers to encourage sports and to bring awareness about physical education among children. Also, efforts will be made to increase the number of physical education training centers in both the public and private sectors.

Earlier, School Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara had said Govt to launch recruitment drive to fill 29,000 posts in the State Education Department. “I would like to say on this forum that by this month we will release notification for recruitment to another 29,000 posts in the education department. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s vision is that our children who work hard should get jobs.
