Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have always been serving fans with major couple goals. The two, who have been together for almost a decade, initially kept their relationship a secret. With a picture of Ranveer Singh hugging and kissing Deepika, people started speculating about him, which eventually turned out to be true. Now, Ranveer has opened up about his relationship and wife Deepika Padukone.
Speaking to The Indian Express, Ranveer Singh revealed what was Deepika’s reaction when he first hugged her in front of the camera and said, “She was furious, she asked me ‘Will you hug me like this in front of the camera’ ?'”
Talking about their relationship, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor said, “It has been ten years with Deepika. 2022 will be ten years. But the wonderful thing about our relationship is that she continues to amaze me, she continues to amaze me. It’s been four years (since the wedding), but it always feels so fresh. Sometimes it is sugar, sometimes it is masala but for me it is that and everything. And, I think she is my boyfriend and best friend and the best thing that happened to me.”
When asked if the two are planning to welcome new members into their lives, Ranveer Singh turns it down and asks the interviewer to ask Deepika when she returns from Cannes.
Deepika Padukone is a member of the esteemed jury at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Ranveer Singh had also left for Cannes to meet Deepika, but returned to Mumbai to promote a new product with Rohit Shetty. On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be working with Rohit Shetty for Circus, which stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma. Deepika Padukone had a good lineup of films. She will share the screen with Shah Rukh for Pathan, with Hrithik Roshan for Fighter and with Prabhas for Nag Ashwin’s next.
