The company recently gifted this custom-made electric Nano to its founder Ratan Tata. The company shared in front of Ratan Tata’s picture Nano EV In a linked-in post.
Describing it as a ‘moment of truth’, the company said they were looking forward to getting insights from Mr Tata’s reaction after the car ride.
“It is a moment of truth for Team Electra EV as our founders ride in a custom-built 72V Nano EV powered by the engineering prowess of the Electra EV’s powertrain. We need Mr. Tata’s Nano EV,” wrote Electra EV on its LinkedIn page. So proud to give and get insights from their invaluable feedback.
This custom-built Tata Nano has a claimed range of 160 km and a top speed of 0-60 kmph in less than 10 seconds. The car is powered by a super polymer lithium-ion battery. According to an official statement “The Tata Nano EV Offers the practicality of a real car, compromising nothing in the quest to provide eco-friendly personal transport for the modern consumer. ,
While Tata Motors is ramping up capacity for electric vehicles, there is no confirmation on whether the Nano EV will go into production in the near future.
