To match this dramatic coachwork, Mark’s bespoke collective of designers, engineers, and craftspeople collaborated to create a fully customizable process that complements Rolls-Royce hallmarks such as the high-polished spirit of ecstasy and the reversing Pantheon grille. allows for. This is made up of a total of 44 layers of carbon fiber for added strength. A 3D-forged aluminum hub is attached to the rim using aerospace-grade titanium fasteners and finished with the marque’s hallmark floating hubcap, ensuring the Double R monogram remains straight at all times. To celebrate the material substance and remarkable surface effect, a lightly tinted lacquer is applied to protect the finish but still allow customers to observe the technical complexity of wheels of unique carbon fiber construction.
The interior suites have been carefully created and crafted in advanced luxury materials for an unparalleled ambiance. Recalling the dramatic mechanical intent of the Black Badge Ghost, the material stays true to the Ghost’s post opulent design philosophy – one defined by authenticity and material substance and not by open statement. In this spirit, an intricate but subtle weave that incorporates deep diamond patterns rendered in carbon and metallic fibers has been created by the marque’s craftsmen.
Multiple wood layers are pressed onto the internal component substrates, using a black Bolivar veneer for the upper base layer. This forms a deep foundation for the technical fiber layers that follow. Components are applied in perfect alignment by hand, creating a three-dimensional effect, as opposed to leaves woven from resin-coated carbon and metal-coated threads laid in a diamond pattern.
