Series of programs for the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi

To celebrate the 75th year of independence of the country, the state government has prepared a series of cultural programs across the state to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, while participating in a video conference organized by the Secretary, Union Ministry of Culture on Thursday, said that the state government has decided to organize the year-long celebrations starting from this month. As part of this, a series of rallies and other events were planned across the state.

The programs were planned with an aim to rekindle the spirit of freedom struggle and will showcase the values ​​and pride of the freedom struggle. Cycle rallies will be organized from 75 places in the state, with each troupe covering a distance of 75 km. A special exhibition on the freedom struggle will be organized in the State Art Gallery.

Bathukamma festival, the biggest festival of Telangana, reflects the spirit of freedom struggle, while cultural programs involving cultural troupes of the department will be organized. The government had decided to work in the IT sector and film industry for this purpose and it was also decided to organize workshops and seminars through the Department of Higher Education.
